Introduction The website has a simple set of search options to enable you to easily find the pages you want from the thousands available on the website. Selecting a category and specifying keywords enable you to refine the search so that you are not faced with too many pages. Categories Click on the down arrow on the right of the box and a list of all the categories available will appear. Scan down the list and select the category or sub-category you require. Entering keywords will reduce the number of pages returned. Examples Selecting All will allow you to look at all of the worksheets in every subject. Selecting Comprehension will allow you to look at all the different styles and levels of comprehension available on the site. Selecting Comprehension – Read and Write will narrow down the search even further. Keywords You can enter keywords to locate the pages related to a specific idea or theme that you are interested in within the subject or category that you selected or the whole website. You can use general terms such as food or you can be more specific and enter apple. Keyword searches can throw up some strange results – type in car and you will find not only cars but also pages with carrot, carriage, scarf etc. – all the words contain car. Themes – you can use keyword searches to find pages linked to themes. This will provide you with differentiated worksheets that can be made into a book for a class project or for an individual child. Free     Tick the box if you only want only the free worksheets to appear. More information about a page Select a Page - From the search select the worksheet by double clicking on the page. This will allow you to see the Category, Title, Ref No. and the keywords. You can also see a larger thumbnail. Print Now - This will bring up a PDF page that can be printed or saved. Download Now - this allows you to download the PDF and save it on your computer. Add to Favourites - this will store your favourite pages a file on the web site making them easy to find. Return to the search by selecting Return to Listing. Scroll through the pages of the search one at a time selecting - Previous Worksheets or Next Worksheets.
